This painting portrays a hypothetical scenario. The Louisiana holds station briefly at the rim of the Sea of Japan’s coastal 40 fathom curve and the deep range. Two Seal Delivery Vehicles have returned from a coastal surveillance exercise. They hover while the casing crew prepare to retrieve and house the SDVs.
